Snow Angel

This is my snow angel. He is two and three-quarters as of this picture, and so precious. After we returned from this trip to Tahoe, all three kids were sick (I should revisit my sick protocols). He was the first to recover, so we took him with us to the grocery store for some special time. Wow. What an amazing experience to get to be with just him and my husband, no big sister, no baby (they were safe at home with grandma). It was such a sweet reminder that each child needs time alone with us as individuals and sometimes, with both parents. For 45 minutes, it was like he was an only child.

  1. I am glad he is feeling better. That sound so special that you got to spend time with him! I am the youngest of three and I always loved going grocery shopping, jut my mom and me. It was like our only time together. Isn't it great to spend time with just one of them... I am having a girls day this weekend with my daughter and she is so excited. I imagine it gets harder the more kids you have but it is so important to make that alone time with each kid.

  3. It's so nice that you savored the moment! He is a little Qt. Those moments will be even sweeter when he is taller then you. Trust me.

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. I love hearing what you have to say! Sometimes I'm busy chasing after the three kids who can walk, or feeding the baby, but I promise, at some point I'll get back to you and head over to your blog (if you have one) to leave you a comment too:)
