Favorite Baby Names I Won't be Using

Now that the pregnancy is out of the bag, see this announcement post, it's time for me to start getting these posts out that have been sitting in draft for for months, just taunting me:) Because we don't believe in sharing the baby's name until it/he/she is actually here, this isn't the best spot for me to pontificate about *actual* name choices. So I present to you names that I love and won't be using:)

Boys:
Owen
Lucas
Ryan (hello Ryan Reynolds:)
Milo
Jacob Micah (I thought, for sure, we would have one, but time passes, and tastes change...)
Pendragon (although it's awesome)
Tate

Girls:
Amelia
Charlotte
Jospehine (too much time reading Little Women)
Josephine March...
Viviane and Morgaine (from the Mysts of Avalon)
Eloise
Clara
Violet
Seraphina
Fiona

Any names you would put on there? I'm in baby-brain-fog, which means any name ideas are super fun and exciting for me!

  1. Congrats! I think picking names is just as fun as decorating the babies room they never sleep in! HA! I love Owen and Micah {with out the jacob?} And for girls I love Charlotte and Viviane! Good luck deciding!

  3. Congrats!!! We have four kiddos (5, 7, 9, 10) too so I know that you're in for a fun ride :-) it's wonderful and a whole new level of chaos. I never got to use these names: Winter Grace, Eliza Mae,& Ivy for girls; Grady, Quinn, Sebastian, & Xander for boys. Of all of our kids' names (2 boys, 2 girls), my favorite is "Neve Marguerite"--she was born right after a huge snowstorm (Neve means snow) and her middle name is a family name. (We also have a Kaia, Miles, & Heath). We're halfway through building our new house so I've been lurking on yours for awhile since you have such fun ideas and great taste!

  4. My older daughter's middle name is Josephine (after my mother) and if we had had a third girl she would have been Emilia (after a great aunt). I'd love to hear more about Pendragon. ;)

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. I love hearing what you have to say! Sometimes I'm busy chasing after the three kids who can walk, or feeding the baby, but I promise, at some point I'll get back to you and head over to your blog (if you have one) to leave you a comment too:)
