Face Painting with Kids

Not, the type you are thinking of, where you, the adult, paint your children.

Nope, I'm talking about the totally adorable, let-it-all-hang-out kind where you let the kids paint themselves.

And each other.

And maybe even you.

Then, since they can tell their mother is clearly being way too fun, they try a little something "fun" of their own:)

Infusing your own Vodka

My daughter didn't fully finish a pear, and I thought I'd pop it into a glass of water to stop it from turning brown.

Then I had a brilliant idea. If I popped it into a glass of vodka, I could infuse my own vodka!

                      

See how I put little labels on it in the fridge so no one inadvertently gave the baby a vodka pear?

After 3 days, I strained it into a mini-martini glass.

Good, but it needed something. So I added pomegranate juice, a few pomegranate seeds, and it was fab!
