Thanksgiving Handprint Turkeys

I can't get enough of using kid handprints in fun ways, and this was the perfect excuse to get all 3 kids in on the action.

I traced each hand in a different Thanksgiving-ish color (red, orange and yellow).

Then I used a Mod Podge sticky dot (not the technical name!) to put them together. You could also use a tape loop or glue, I just had these on hand and I liked the dimension it gave the project since each layer is a bit lifted off the other ones.

I scavenged for some googly eyes from our batch of too many craft projects, glues one eye on each one  (actually my 5 year old did all the gluing), and we were done.

Here they are marching across my kitchen mantle.

I plan on using these as place cards for Thanksgiving if they can last long enough!
