Hiding my "monthly supplies"

Just warning you, this is a post about how to contain those "monthly" supplies, not sure you (DAD), really need to keep on reading.

Just saying...

 sanitary supplies runneth over...

This "before" is not pretty. It's like a walk down the sanitary products aisle at your local drugstore.

Needless to say, my husband was not so happy to see this on the back of our toilet tank once a month:)

the before- sanitary supplies runneth over...

Enter, a lovely box from West Elm (not available anymore, but similar to these).

Containing sanitary supplies (menstrual items) in a box on the toilet tank)

Everything is neatly corraled, including the tampons and pads,

a place for everything, everything in it's place, and *hidden* from view!

Problem solved!

I like your idea but it wouldn't work in my bathroom. The top of my toilet is slightly rounded so when you put anything flat (like a box) on it it looks funny. I have a cosmetic bag that I keep all of that stuff in similar to your set up. I just bring it our for that week a month and it lives on the back of the toilet.

Great post. I may do this for my powder room downstairs.

I can remember my boy (now 26) yelling at me from down the grocery aisle (when he was about five) -- "Mommy! Do you need any pads? I found some!" and my daughter (now 23), making a "flower" out of a tampon. That's how we roll here. Nothing (including personal hygiene) is sacred.

Super easy and efficient. I'll have to remember this. Especially good if guests are over and they use our master bath.

That's clever! All of mine are hidden under the sink, in a giant box.
